Geochemists, depending on their location, may have limited access to the resources, opportunities, or expertise necessary to fulfill their professional goals.
This program aims to connect these professionals with mentors across the globe who can assist, guide, and provide insights to aid in achieving these goals. For a start, the program will focus on three activities and will be dedicated to geochemists from low-income or lower middle-income countries as defined by the World Bank. Delegates meet every ~1.5 years at the ICIW to discuss methodological development and inter-laboratory standardization, learn about exciting new applications, and share ideas. The workshops are structured around several sessions of lectures and posters, with a large portion of the time being devoted to formal and informal discussion.
Abstract submission is now open and closes on 15 July. Registration is open until5 August and financial assistance will be available to selected students.
