EAG welcomes Liane G. Benning as new president
The EAG Council would like to welcome Liane G. Benning, University of Leeds and German Research Center for Geosciences, as the new EAG President. Liane has been involved with the society for over six years, first serving in the council as Chair of the Communications Committee, Secretary then Vice-President and lately as founding editor of Geochemical Perspectives and Geochemical Perspectives Letters. Liane's energy and dedication to the society have been fundamental to the growth of the EAG.
The EAG Council also welcomes Bernard Marty as Vice-President, Antje Boetius as Goldschmidt Officer, Stefanie Lutz as Early Career Councillor and Sigurður Gíslason, Andreas Pack and Dominik Weiss as the 3 new councillors you have elected. Finally, the EAG wishes to thank departing councillors Michael Bau, Bernard Bourdon, Christa Göpel and Amaelle Landais for their time and services.
